Helping people to live longer and better lives, is the cause to which I've devoted the last 10 years of my life. Before I left the corporate environment 10 years ago, I was responsible for a large number of employees, so I had some involvement with concern for other persons lives, and the main thing I became aware of is how large a portion of the population take very poor care of their health resulting in their dying sooner than necessary, as well as having more health problems than necessary, as well as the latter portion of their lives being more unpleasant than necessary. I've since spent 10 years learning more about why that happens, and how it can be avoided. The result is a book that extends the lives of its readers by 15 to 20 percent on average. People ask "A book can make people live longer?" Yes, the readers of this book actually live longer.

The book gets amazing results because it does something that had not been done before related to advice on how to achieve improved health. It attracts its readers to a process that gets them to want to live longer badly enough that they begin doing the 8 simple things that will make a great improvement in their health. Almost everyone knows what they should do, but few want to do those things badly enough to actually do them, let alone do them diligently for the long term. Once you read the book you begin to understand why you must do them. Then, once you begin the process explained in the book, you come to understand clearly why the process is so effective. People die on average 20 to 25 percent sooner than they would absent avoidable health conditions, and there is one root cause for most of the premature deaths. It is that the persons themselves allowed their health to deteriorate. What is most important, however, is that it is avoidable. 

Within the one root cause category, the most frequent subcategory of causes for less than ideal health conditions is people simply taking their health for granted.  When people are young it isn't obvious that good health doesn't just happen. Starting then, taking their health for granted becomes a habit that most people never get over. It can't continue to be taken for granted. It's important to keep up with the 8 simple things health wise to assure our body will support our living longer. By following the process explained in the book, we can be confident our body will support our living longer, and of having happier and more satisfying and longer lives (fifteen to twenty percent longer on average).

Persons can still do whatever they want with their life in terms of their career, or vocation, or family, or faith, or whatever. Neither the process nor the 8 simple things keep us from doing what we want to do with our life. They simply amplify our life and make it longer and better.




ABOUT THE AUTHOR


Fred Spagnoletti was born and grew up outside the small town of Bessemer in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fred is now semi-retired from the aerospace industry, where his career began in engineering related to rocket and jet engines, and progressed to President of a group of international aerospace companies. He and his wife, Gay, reside in Dallas, Texas.
